Concrete Restoration

Due to Florida's humid climate, the need for concrete restoration is becoming a very prevalent problem
with buildings today.

Cracks form and develop in stucco and concrete which allows water and moisture to penetrate into your
building. This moisture and water can corrode the structural reinforcement members in the concrete
that over time will cause further cracking, popping, and spalling on the concrete of your building. Once
this spalling occurs it unfortunately opens up your building for more water intrusion, which leads to
further corrosion and the further weakening of your building. This is why it is so imperative to fix this
problem once the signs of cracking and spalling occur.

The restoration process involves locating the problem areas, removing the damaged concrete to expose
the problem areas and remediating them by restoring the structural steel to a non corrosive state. It is
also common to have to replace rebar all together and adding corrosion prohibitors to prevent further
spreading. Once the problem is corrected the concrete and cracks, and stucco is repaired.

These problems should be repaired as quickly as possible. The concrete restoration process can be a
very extensive and expensive endeavor, however letting the problem spread can only add to the
damage to your building.
